Recurve Risers - NISHIKAWA - SAMICK

Recurve riser or handle is the midsection of a recurve bow and available in different lengths. (14,5" up till 27") Practically all of them are right handed (RH) or left handed (LH). There are only a few that are ambidextrous (RH and LH). Each riser has a top limb and bottom limb fitting. Most common fitings are beginner or square fitting, ILF fitting and Formula fitting. Some risers can fit both, ILF and Formula. ILF and Formula risers are made for competition shooting and exists in all price levels, from low till high.  Most of them are made of aluminum but also carbon or magnesium. Beginner risers usually are made out of wood or aluminum and fit beginner fitting limbs.
