For more than fifty years the Family Staelens has devoted their lives to archery.
Started in a small workshop in the early fifties the company has grown to the 2000m˛ warehouse it is today
and expanding to 3000m˛ before the end of the year.
His passion for archery as well as his knowledge and experience on the field have led Pierre Staelens to evolve
from the all-round sport wholesaler, to the specialized archery wholesaler, like we know today. In the early
sixties he was the first to introduce the “Palomino Bow” by Ben Pearson to the Belgian market, as well
as other innovative American brands like, Cravota, Galaxy, Black Hawk, Black Widow... The tradition
lives on through his son (Gerald) and grandsons (Axel and Walter).
Nowadays SSA SPORTING GOODS has specialized itself in wholesale and export. Shipping in whole
Europe, their knowledge and experience have led them to be one of the leading archery companies in Europe.
